What I’ve Been Doing Since . . .

Purple was my son's favorite color.

This grows wild near the side of our house. The petals close up at night.

Beginning blooms

These purple violets, along with white violets, blanket our yard in early spring.

My husband and son built the fire pit.

We're working on making this a prettier area.

Our neighbor gifted this cute birdhouse. It was pretty heavy so we mounted it atop an old clothesline pole. In the background, you can see a portion of the wind-chime my dad up-cycled from an old, small organ he salvaged. When the wind blows through, the chimes sound like church bells.
